The page cannot be displayed

The page you are looking for doesn't really exist. Such a web site would try to convince you that building a road instead of investing in public transport is the sensible option. You would need to adjust your credulity settings.

Please try the following:

  • Click the refresh.gif (82 bytes) Ripoff button, then put £200m straight into the pocket of your nearest PFI fat cat.
  • If you really thought there was an argument for a second tunnel, then you were mistaken.
  • To try and make sure the project goes ahead, the PTA will squander your money on expensive Consultants, laughable Environmental Statements, and then make you pay for the Road Improvements needed to ensure that a steady supply of cars use it.
  • If the Passenger Transport Authority really put its mind to it, we could have a first class local public transport Network, instead of plunging Millions into a project that will mean misery for thousands of local residents.
If you would like us to point you back to tyne crossings,
click Detect Settings Detect Reality Settings
  • The proposed tunnel will require millions of pounds of public money just so the fat cat PFI bosses can cream off millions in tolls. Not one penny of the tolls will go back into the Community, or be invested in realistic public transport alternatives.
  • If you are trying to reach a site which proves the argument that more roads are good, then good luck. There is no such thing.
  • Click the Back button to return to sanity.
